Our annual Fundamentals of Parallel Axis Gear Manufacturing seminar is less than 1 month away!

For over 30 years Helios Gear Products has been educating industry personnel on the fundamentals of parallel axis gear manufacturing. This course has expanded to encompass all aspects of gearing production from the basics of fixturing and blanks to hobbing, shaping and even finishing processes such as heat treatment and grinding. Attendees learn to “speak gearing” while comprehending the techniques of cutting operations, cutting tools, production estimating, inspection, quality standards, and more. This course’s significant breadth and depth of information ensures a valuable educational experience.

While most of the seminar takes place in a classroom environment to facilitate presentations and discussions, the class also visits local manufacturers to see both fine- and coarse-pitch gear manufacturing in action. To round out the course, meals are provided to promote networking and personal conversations with industry colleagues.

This seminar is designed for entry-level gear manufacturing personnel and today over 1,300 gear industry members have attended and graduated from the Helios Gear School. Attendees commonly include operators, supervisors, engineers, executives, purchasers, and more.
